Nabiru is believed by conspiracy theorists to be a planet that was once predicted to hit the earth in 2003. They now believe that is on a collision course with earth for 2012. It is also rumored to be tracked by NASA, and is said to be visible by 2009 in the southern hemisphere. Im not sure if im buying it though

Well I Don't Know About that BUT, I did see this. For 15 years, scientists have benefited from data gleaned by U.S. classified satellites of natural fireball events in Earth's atmosphere – but no longer. A recent U.S. military policy decision now explicitly states that observations by hush-hush government spacecraft of incoming bolides and fireballs are classified secret and are not to be released, SPACE.com has learned. The satellites' main objectives include detecting nuclear bomb tests, and their characterizations of asteroids and lesser meteoroids as they crash through the atmosphere has been a byproduct data bonanza for scientists. The upshot: Space rocks that explode in the atmosphere are now classified. "It's baffling to us why this would suddenly change," said one scientist familiar with the work. "It's unfortunate because there was this great synergy...a very good cooperative arrangement. Systems were put into dual-use mode where a lot of science was getting done that couldn't be done any other way. It's a regrettable change in policy." Its not that I doubted the theory. I just tend to doubt the intelligence of nasa . sometimes I think they really are clueless. I also tend to be weary of outlandish prophecies that arnt followed up by research. I did find the link to be dead on acurate and am doing further research regarding it.

There's a lot of speculation about what exactly that date could mean. Is it literally the end of the world or is it a change in the world? A lot of people believe that something catastrophic will happen, but it might not actually be doomsday where there is nothing more.

If this was the thought about this date...as in it being doomsday and then nothing more of life on earth...then what would be the point of living each day until then and planning for a future that isn't to be? I prefer to think that it will be a time of changes...hopefully positive ones!

I know that many fears that December 2012 will be the end of times but I have already heard a lot of rumors regarding the end of the world but it never did happen.
The bible says that no one know about it except the Father.

It's actually a very eerie feeling and I think if yoiu spend all of your time worrying about the end, then you don't get anything from today.

I tend to agree with the suggestion above that NASA wouldn't necessarily be sharing information on this topic.
Is this date significant because it was the last date on the Mayan calendar? I've heard a few things about that, but I don't recall the details.

i do believe that things happening today is a picture to what is going to happen tomorrow. it is within every human on how to change its course or that prophecy. negativity is a simple thing to do, but i know we could really do something meaningful to have a new prophecy for the 2012. more prayers and positive outlook will be of great help. what about you?

Hmm... No. But who cares, the world is doomed now anyways. Ha ha! That's a good one. Come to think of it it'll only be a matter of time before our ozone layer is completely destroyed which is sure to be one of the reasons of our doom.
