I went out to celebrate with friends that day. It was in the back of our minds, but I didn't really believe it was going to happen. I was glad to know it didn't either way.

No I did not think that 2000 was the end. Eventually there will be an end but I doubt it will be in 2012. Seems there is this need by the media to keep hyping the "end" been hearing it since the 80's

The christians did, & then Oops we must be a few years off, you know them old folks can't make a decent calander. then 2003 came & went so now, well lets try this 2012 thing

Nope, not really.  I was more concerned with the computers not being able to handle the change, but I never really thought there was any doomsday aura attached to 2000.

No and I don't know one person who thought it was going to end.  The only talk I heard was that computers might crash, but I have no idea how some people thought that meant the world was going to end. I remember watching the news before Y2K and all they were mentioning was the computer date glitch..never the end of the world.  Huh Huh
