I don't see how people can read Revelation and call Armageddon a battle. Look at chapter 16 verses 13-16 and see if my imput is in error.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. [The battle is called the battle of that great day of God Almighty and is fought by the beast, dragon and false prophet one against the other two.]
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. [This is to the church or saints.]
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. [Armageddon is the place they will be protected from the battle, the place they will leave during the millenium to reclaim the whole earth and give birth to "the dead in the anointing".]
well maybe some people interpret it that way!! i mean for them its a battle between good and evil and the likes..
